Summary
The Loyalist Committee was created within the Galactic Senate in 22 BBY, shortly before the Battle of Geonosis. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine formed the Committee as an advisory body to himself to handle the Separatist Crisis, cleanse the Senate of corruption, and promote loyalty to the Galactic Republic.
